x-50McKinney, TX – On June 22, 2014 David Brumley, will race the Tri Shop Disco X-50 at Lake Ray Roberts, 15 minutes north of Denton. David has a rare form of called (Common Variable Immune Deficiency) and participates in endurance sports as a way to inspire, equip and encourage those living with PI. This particular race is unique in distance in that it involves a 1 mile swim, 40 mile bike and a 9 mile run. With the Texas hills and Texas heat, this is a great race to get ready for Ironman Louisville in August 2014.

PI is incurable, life debilitating and chronic. It can make a person feel like a victim without hope. It is because of this that David started TriForBetter as a way to share his story and raise awareness along the way. He would like to speak with you about his experience and how we can let the people in our community know about PI.
